Hanoi is the oldest capital city in Southeast Asia and has been one of the few cities in Asia left entirely void of the western-style boxy business architecture. We Hanoi people regard our capital city as heart of Vietnam. 
Upon arrival, meet and greet by our guide and driver, transfer to your hotel for check in. Let's experience on a cyclo, the popular mean of transport in Hanoi, enjoying views of what is happening on the streets of the Old Quarter.
Enjoy “welcome dinner” at traditional restaurant with Vietnamese cuisine. In the evening, you will have tickets for a performance of traditional Water Puppetry, an art form unique to northern Vietnam , and a good, light-hearted introduction to its rural culture. Day 2: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Deluxe Legend Cruiser
Halong bay, the magnificent heritage with its 1,968 islands rising from the emerald water of the Gulf of Tonkin. Ha Long is an excellent example of a Karst landscape created by a complex chain during millions of years of geological movement. Let us take you back in time on a fascinating relaxing journey along the Red River Delta to the World Heritage Site, the Halong Bay 
Meet and greet by our guide at your hotel, transfer to Halong City by van (3.5 hour drive). On the way to Halong city enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life.
Arrive in Halong board Halong Legend Cruiser. Lunch served with a welcome drink while the boat cruises the bay to enjoy the beautiful limestone seascape. After visiting Amazing cave we stop at a floating house and go kayaking to Luon cave to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the bay. Day 3: Deluxe Legend Cruiser - full day Kayak
Sunrise breakfast is ready to serve at around 7h30 am. Soaking your body for our kayaking. The guide will show you the most beautiful parts of the bay through a maze of islets amidst dramatic natural scenery to explore stalactite caves such as Drum cave, Man’s head islet, Turtle islet and Fairman’s cave before heading to Van Gia fishing village for BBQ lunch and relaxation. You will have a chance to understand more about fishermen’s daily life in the bay. 
Afterwards we continue kayaking to the other side of the bay to visit a pearl farm. We return to the junk at around 4h00 pm for the second night. Overnight at Deluxe Phoenix Cruiser (B/L/D)
Day 4: Deluxe Legend Cruiser - Halong Bay - Hanoi
Sunrise breakfast, morning cruise back to Le Tonkin, lazy on the top deck. Let spend time enjoying the beauty ò creator. Having lunch on board with variety of local foods before back to Halong whaft. Have a short break of 15 minutes and en route to Hanoi. Free dinner at your expense, and spend night at the Golden Lotus Hotel (B/L)
Day 5: Hanoi departure

Day 1: Hanoi arrival

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay
½ day city tour with highlight in Hanoi before transfer by road (approx 3 hours) to Halong Bay is considered Vietnam's greatest natural wonder; expect to be awed by the amazing limestone karsts jutting dramatically from the water. Overnight in Halong. (B/L/D)
Day 3: Halong Bay – Lao Cai
Morning enjoy 4 hour cruise on Halong Bay, visits of Thien Cung Grottoes and Sung Sot Cave. After an early lunch on board the boat, head back to Hanoi with time for further sightseeing until our overnight train to Lao Cai province. The train is air-conditioned, and you will be accommodated in shared sixe-berth sleepers. Overnight on train (B/L/D)
Day 4: Lao Cai – Sapa
After arriving in Lao Cai in the morning, we transfer 45 minutes to Sapa. A morning excursion will take us to the village of Cat Cat where we'll have a chance to interact with some of the local ethnic minorities such as the Black H’mong. Enjoy seeing the stream, beautiful valley, the step filed, and the top of Fansipan Mountain - the highest mountain of South East Asia. Continue along the Muong Hoa rive to Y Linh Ho village, Lao Chai village, Ta Van village where you can court, discovery village and ethnic ground, daily life before return Sapa by jeep. Day 5: Sapa – Hanoi
We can take walking onto Dragon’s Jaw Mountain; enjoy traditional music performance, walking through Sapa local market. Take the afternoon to relax before catching our overnight train back to Hanoi. Day 6: Hanoi city tour
Today you visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and Museum. The Mausoleum houses the remains of Ho Chi Minh, the founding father of the unified Vietnam (the mausoleum and museum is closed October-November as well as every Monday and Friday), pass by Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple for your luck pray.
After lunch at restaurant, spend 2 hour with the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu). Taking a walk around the central lake of Hanoi downtown named “Hoan Kiem”, pay a visit to Ngoc Son temple and The Huc Bridge. Overnight in Hanoi (B/L/D)
Day 7: Hanoi – Bat Trang Pottery – Van Phuc Silk
Today you visit Bat Trang Pottery, a typical village where you can enjoy craftsman with its skill. You can make pottery stuff by yourself if preferred. After lunch time, continue to Van Phuc Silk, an excellent place for your shopping as well as discover you local people makes silk and other product related to silk products (B/L/D)
Day 8: Hanoi departure

Da Lat He 2009 - Net dac sac moi
Tuyến đầu tiên của hành trình, du khách đi qua các địa danh như làng cá bè La Ngà, đèo Chuối, dừng chân nghỉ ngơi và tham quan khu du lịch rừng sinh thái Madagui - thám hiểm cầu treo, tắm suối, cưỡi ngựa… Tham quan một trong những thác nước đẹp của vùng cao nguyên như: thác Pongour, Prenn, Datanla - thưởng thức cảm giác của máng trượt. Đến Đà Lạt du khách tham quan dinh Bảo Đại (dinh III) nằm trên đường Triệu Việt Vương, tọa lạc trên một quả đồi cao có những cánh rừng thông xanh bao bọc khá đẹp. Dinh là nơi ở của vua Bảo Đại, vị vua cuối cùng của triều đình phong kiến Việt Nam. Dinh được xây dựng năm 1933-1938 theo kiến trúc châu Âu với mái hình khối, bố cục tuy cân đối nhưng không đối xứng. Dinh có tổng cộng 25 phòng, tầng trên dành riêng cho gia quyến của vua, tầng dưới làm nơi làm việc và tiếp khách. Năm 1988 người ta tình cờ phát hiện một số bảo vật gồm 122 món ngọc ngà, châu báu của triều Nguyễn do bà Từ Cung (mẹ vua Bảo Đại) đem vào từ Huế, số bảo vật này là của cải riêng của hoàng thái hậu Từ Cung và một số đời vua trước để lại.
Đáng chú ý có nhiều đồ dùng bằng ngọc như thau rửa mặt bằng vàng nạm 16 viên ngọc, các loại bát ngọc, đĩa ngọc, một số đồ dùng bằng vàng. Số bảo vật này đang được lưu giữ tại Kho bạc tỉnh Lâm Đồng. Có thể nói đây là bộ sưu tập về ngọc đầy đủ nhất, quý giá nhất của các triều đại phong kiến Việt Nam còn lưu giữ được đến ngày nay.Buổi sáng khi tiết trời còn se lạnh, xe đưa du khách đến tham quan nhà thờ Domain De Marie. Tại đây quý khách sẽ lựa chọn cho mình những sản phẩm làm bằng len do bàn tay khéo léo của các nghệ nhân khuyết tật làm ra như áo len, khăn len, mũ len và nhiều mặt hàng khác bán với giá ưu đãi.
Thật thú vị nếu ngồi trên chuyến xe lửa cổ đến viếng chùa Linh Phước, cách TP Đà Lạt 8km thuộc khu vực Trại Mát, gần quốc lộ 27 đi Phan Rang, xây dựng khoảng năm 1949-1952. Chánh điện thờ tượng Phật Thích Ca cao 4,9m (kể cả tòa sen), hai bên nội điện là 2 hàng cột rồng khảm sành với nghệ thuật điêu luyện, trên là những bức phù điêu khảm bằng miểng chén về lịch sử cuộc đời Đức Phật. Mặt trước của chùa là tiền đường bảo tháp cao 27m. Có thể kết hợp tham quan ga xe lửa Trại Mát cách đó 300m và thác Hang Cọp cách chùa 6km.

Đồi Mộng Mơ - vườn thơ Hàn Mặc Tử Đi vào thung lũng Vàng (đường Ankroet, xã Lát, huyện Lạc Dương, cách trung tâm Đà Lạt 15km về phía bắc). Khu du lịch này hiện đang là một trong những điểm tham quan dã ngoại hấp dẫn ở Đà Lạt nhờ có những đồi thông nguyên sinh, vườn cây cảnh bonsai, vườn đá cảnh lấy từ núi rừng Lâm Đồng, một vườn lan sinh thái tập hợp hàng trăm giống lan đặc chủng của núi rừng Tây nguyên. Nói đến tình yêu phải nhớ đến núi Bà - Lang Biang, du khách được nghe huyền thoại về thiên tình sử giữa một chàng trai và một cô gái dân tộc. Chàng là K’Lang, nàng là Ho’Bian… Dấu vết còn lại của thiên tình sử diễm lệ này là hồ Đa Nhim ngày nay (theo tiếng dân tộc Đa Nhim là nước mắt). Hải sản thường hấp dẫn du khách ở các món cá mú, cá bớp, cá chẻm, hàu sống ăn mù tạt, hàu né, cá nâu nướng muối ớt, ghẹ nướng, cua rang me, cua Long Sơn, lẩu canh chua cá dứa, cá tráp hấp hành… Đặc sản thuộc loại hiếm ở đây chính là loại ốc gai.
Ngoài những món đã đặt trước, quý khách có thể ngắm đàn cá bơi lội giữa các ô nuôi trong bè. Nhà bè được chia thành những ô vuông bằng những lối đi lát gỗ, mỗi ô vuông là một lồng bè nuôi cá bớp, cá chẻm, cá mú… Thấy bóng người, những con cá bớp to như cá lóc bông lao tới đòi ăn, quẫy nước mạnh đến nỗi văng cả vào người các vị khách đứng xem, thích loại hải sản nào quý khách chỉ việc gọi anh bồi bàn và kêu thợ mang vợt ra bắt ngay cá tươi sống đưa vào nhà bếp, chỉ 10 đến 15 phút là đã có ngay món mới do chính quý khách lựa chọn.
Việc bắt cá ở cửa sông này quá dễ, thả xuống những chiếc lồng sắt, làm chà dụ cá vào ở và chờ đến lúc nước cạn là dùng ròng rọc quay lồng trở lên bắt cá. Cá nâu, cá ngát, cá chẻm, cá dứa, cá lù đù… thường tụ tập cạnh các nhà bè nuôi cá để ăn những thức ăn thừa, do đó đoạn cửa sông này là nơi khá lý tưởng cho dân ghiền câu cá từ thành phố xuống đây vào các ngày cuối tuần.
Bên cạnh nhà hàng làng bè Long Sơn là các bè nuôi hàu. Khoảng 20 bè được cột vào nhau, nổi trên mặt nước nhờ những thùng phuy nhựa, phía trên đầy ắp giàn cây treo những tấm tôn. Những con hàu cỡ ba tháng tuổi bám chặt vào các tấm tôn, to cỡ con sò điệp, chốc chốc lại hé miệng phun nước. Người nuôi hàu chẳng phải tốn thêm một đồng thức ăn hay con giống nào ngoài việc đầu tư cơ sở vật chất ban đầu, và chỉ việc lựa chỗ nước chảy nhiều neo bè thả những tấm tôn cho hàu tự bám. Hàu nuôi cỡ 10 - 11 tháng mới thu hoạch.
Khoảng ba năm qua, vùng cửa sông Chà Và này của Long Sơn bỗng phát triển nghề nuôi cá bè mà xuất phát điểm là từ các nhà kinh doanh người Đài Loan. Với ưu thế về sự trong lành của môi trường, địa thế kín gió, có thể tránh được bão, làng bè Long Sơn đã phát triển đến nay trên 20 nhà bè, có cái rộng đến cả chục hecta. Đa số chủ bè là người Đài Loan, Trung Quốc. Họ thuê công nhân từ các tỉnh miền Tây, có bè đến 50 - 60 công nhân.
Nhà bè được đầu tư khá quy mô, bài bản, hoạt động theo một quy trình khép kín. Trên bè có cả xưởng chế biến thức ăn cho cá, xưởng sửa chữa, may vá lưới, có phòng đông lạnh các loại cá làm thức ăn cho cá nuôi. Máy phát điện mỗi nhà bè có đến 3 - 4 cái loại công suất lớn, không chỉ đủ khả năng chiếu sáng "công trường" mà còn đủ cho cả phòng đông lạnh. Buổi tối ở đây sáng rực như Sài Gòn, các văn phòng làm việc cũng đầy đủ tiện nghi, có cả ăngten parabol thu sóng vệ tinh…

After breakfast, we start the tour at the historic Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum; an imposing monument lavishly built using marble and granite, and where the preserved body of “Uncle Ho” resides. A short walk from the mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda – resting on a single stone pillar emerging from the water, it is shaped like a lotus flower on its stalk. Inside is a statue of the Goddess of Mercy with its legendary “thousand arms and thousand eyes”.
Afterward, wind your way to the Temple of Literature, the first University for the sons of mandarins, for an overview about Hanoi culture and ancient Vietnamese architecture. Here you have the unique opportunity to learn about the history and culture of the Vietnamese.
Afternoon, the serene Museum of Ethnology is a 30-min drive out of town and offers a chance to get to know Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups. From simple daily objects such as fishing instruments to pricier items such as jewelry, as well as an outdoor area with ethnic houses, the Museum’s rich displays showcase the cultural heritages of diverse Vietnamese communities. Take a walking tour through the old quarter to enjoy the bustling local life, then cap off this fun day with a show at the Water Puppet Theatre - a uniquely northern Vietnamese art form depicting scenes of rural life and episodes of national history. Return to your hotel for period of relaxation. This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at the Restaurant.

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Halong Bay is one of Vietnam’s most spectacular natural wonders. The tiny limestone islands, with beaches and grottoes created by the wind and the waves, provide an excellent backdrop for relaxation and swimming.
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxing and scenic hour drive from Hanoi as we head towards the beautiful seaside resort town of Halong Bay. Along the way we will briefly stop at a local handicraft center where you will have the opportunity to purchase souvenirs. Upon arrival into Halong Bay, you will board your private deluxe junk where a welcome drink and fun filled adventure awaits you. After a relaxing break, enjoy a delicious seafood lunch while cruising through the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waters like dragons’ teeth. After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay, swim on a quiet beach or sunbathe on the deck. Later in the afternoon, visit a fishing village living in the bay for generations. At sunset, join a bamboo boat to discover a water tunnel with coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Wake up early to catch the dramatic sunrise on the bay and enjoy a Tai Chi demonstration on the sun deck. Relax with a cup of hot coffee or tea before departing to the splendid Sung Sot grotto where stalactites hanging from the high ceiling take on numerous shapes and forms. Enjoy a late buffet brunch on board while cruising back to the boat docking station. We then bid farewell to Halong Bay and begin our return trip to Hanoi with a stop at Phu Lang village, one of the last survivors of an old pottery village amidst the modern pressure to industrialize. The pottery here is defined by the brown color and unique patterns. Wander around the village and chat with the artisans at Nhung Pottery workshop or try sitting behind a potter’s wheel. Continue transfer back to Hanoi Airport for the evening flight to Hue. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel and enjoy an evening of relaxation.

Hue served as an imperial capital to the Nguyen Lords, a feudal dynasty which reigned from the 17th to 19th century. With splendid emperors’ tombs, ancient pagodas and the remains of the Citadel, the city retains its Royal charm.
Following breakfast, start the cultural integration with a 10-min “cyclo” tour from your hotel to the Imperial Citadel. Take a stroll to explore the history and architecture around the Capital Citadel (the bastion), Royal Citadel (the sanctum), and the Forbidden Citadel (the royal family’s residence). From there, drive to the boat docking station where you will embark on a half-hour boat trip along the picturesque Perfume River to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue’s best-preserved religious monument. Standing on the riverbank with its seven-story tower, the pagoda is a sight to behold. Enjoy a lunch with royal Hue cuisine at the Ancient Hue Restaurant.
After lunch we take a short drive to the serene Tu Duc Royal Tomb, designed to blend in with the natural surroundings. An incense stick-making house makes for an interesting stop before heading to the elaborate Khai Dinh Royal Tomb, where architecture and atmosphere showcase elements of eastern art and western designs.
We then enjoy a Royal Martial Arts performance - a great cultural feature inherited from the Nguyen Dynasty. A 25-minute long performance of different martial art techniques is reminiscent of the past heroic plots of Vietnamese patriots against colonialists’ suppression. Held at the Temple of the Commanding General Le Van Duyet who served under Gia Long King of 1800s, the 10th generation of family members still resides here.

Between 17th and 19th centuries, Hoi An was a prosperous trading port. Today, this World Heritage-listed ancient town boasts well-preserved buildings, pedestrian-lined streets and unique cuisine, allowing visitors a glimpse of its illustrious past.
Say farewell to the majestic city of Hue and embark on an early morning drive to beautiful Hoi An. Along the way we will make a stop at the Lang Co Fishing Village located on a sand dune line for a photo opportunity. Continue the drive over the Hai Van Cloudy Pass where a spectacular panorama of the coastline can be viewed from the summit. We arrive in Hoi An where you will check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, the narrow lanes are ideal for a walking tour to visit the old merchant’s house with influences from Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese architecture; the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge; the Assembly Hall of the Chaozhou Chinese Congregation with outstanding wood carvings; and the colorful market with stalls brimming with tropical specialties including silk, which can be turned into fashionable garments within a day. An optional stop is the private home of Diep Dong Nguyen with a stunning collection of artifacts ranging from pottery and seals to paintings, money and old Hoi An’s photos.

Today experience a day with the local people in the rural outskirt of Hoi An. In the morning enjoy an interesting trip to Tra Que market garden village. Stroll around the vegetable gardens, join the farmers in preparing the land and learn how they fertilize it with seaweed from the local lake. Learn how they cultivate the vegetables by raking, sowing, watering greens and picking greens, and other interesting gardening methods. Then experience a true Vietnamese meal with a home-hosted lunch with a local family. Sample many local delicacies including “Tam Huu”, a type of spring roll made from Tra Que vegetables. After lunch, continue on to Thanh Nam Fishing village. Experience work with the local people and to learn their traditional methods of fishing. Be briefed on some simple traditional fishing tools before embarking on a boat with some local fishermen to learn how to cast a net - and hopefully catch some fish! Complete your trip at Dai Chiem estuary to visit the peaceful waterways with colorful boats and wharf. Drive back to your hotel and relax.

Cham Island, 25 nautical miles off the coast from Hoi An, consists of seven small islands. Famous for their marine life and beautiful beaches, take a 30-minute private speed boat ride for an insight into what makes Cham Island popular. Visit a traditional fishing village, a shelter for boats in bad weather, and Ong temple, dedicated to a whale buried here. For the adventurous, try snorkeling at Xep beach before ending the trip at Chong beach for swimming, relaxing and a delicious seafood lunch at a simple local restaurant. Cruise back to Hoi An.
OPTIONAL TOUR 3: HOI AN - MY SON & MY LAI DAY TRIP
Considered one of the best-preserved Cham centers in Vietnam, My Son is the former capital of the ancient Cham civilization that ruled Central Vietnam from the 2nd to the 13th century. The 1.5-hour drive in the morning will bring you to My Son where there are 20 monuments still standing today, set in a verdant valley surrounded by hills and overlooked by massive Cat's Tooth Mountain. Stroll around the temple complex to learn about the Cham culture, architecture and civilization. Drive another 2.5 hours to the My Lai for remnants of the American war – a life-size memorial of the horrific war atrocities which took place one day in 1968. See how My Lai has changed since and how the town is moving on from its past. Return to Hoi An.

After breakfast, embark on a walking tour to admire Saigon’s historic landmarks including a stroll down Rue Catinat of Graham Greene's. 'The Quiet American' will reveal more colonial classics; the Opera House, a three-story classical theatre built to entertain the French colonists; the former Hotel de Ville constructed for the French bureaucrats of Indochina in 1901, now The People's Committee building with no public access; the Notre Dame Cathedral, a stunningly massive red-brick edifice with twin spires, a clear reminder that French once ruled this city; the Central Post Office influenced by Renaissance architecture; and the former Presidential Palace, headquarters of the Saigon Government during the American war.
Afternoon, we visit Thien Hau temple built by the Cantonese congregation in the early 19th century. It is to honor the goddess of the sea and protector of fishermen. The temple’s interior courtyard is worth seeing with beautiful ceramic figurines and antiques shrouded in incense-smoke. It is always bustling here with worshippers from the local Chinese community. Have a chance to write out your wishes on a small red note, stick it on an incense coil and pray for your wishes to come true. Return to your hotel to freshen up.
This evening, enjoy a cocktail reception and dinner at the former residence of Mr. Henry C. Lodge – the former US Ambassador to Vietnam in the 1960’s who carried the mission of overthrowing the Southern Government. He lived here between1960-1965 and the architecture is a mixture of Vietnamese, French and American. Today it is the private residence of a local family. Enjoy a short walk through an alley dotted with colonial mansions (some converted into charming open-air cafes) until you reach the home marked “6C”. Behind the gate is a beautiful home where the welcome reception starts with dances performed by children prior to a short film about the history of Saigon and this house. Then it’s time to enjoy a meal hosted in the elegant dining room, accompanied by piano, violin and the life experiences of the home owner.

A great way to glimpse the Delta scenery and life in style and comfort today is by bike and boat. After breakfast board the shuttle for a 2-hour scenic journey to the region of My Tho through urbanized areas. Arrive at the Xoai Mut war memorial which is the starting point of our biking trip. Jump on your bike and pedal on paved road toward Cai Lay, a fertile land famous for its various tropical fruits and lush rice paddies. This exciting 25km bike ride takes you through the tiny villages and orchards on quiet back roads and clay tracks as you pedal your way along the riverside towards the boat docking station where we will board the Mekong Queen boat for a visit to the charming town of Cai Be. A floating market, Cai Be is filled with a number of boats bursting with fruits, vegetables, and other products along the river banks. Traders have lived on the river in their boats for generations. Following this short cruise, enjoy a 10-min walk along the narrow lane as you observe daily life in this region. We will stop by a family-run longan (a local fruit drying processing factory) and enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch at an ancient Mandarin house where four generations of family members are living together. After a delicious lunch filled with Mekong Delta specialties, you can also take a stroll around the orchard to learn how it contributes to the family’s livelihood. Either walk or take a rowing sampan back to the Mekong Queen for your return to Saigon.

Breakfast is at your hotel then we transfer to the airport for the flight to Siem Reap. Arrive in Siem Reap, a pleasant sleepy backwater serving as a gateway to the ancient capital of Angkor. Upon arrival we transfer to the hotel for check in. Afternoon, we start exploring the stunning temples by a fun tuk-tuk ride to the royal city of Angkor Thom. At first glance, it seems a shapeless mass of stone, but further scrutiny reveals enigmatic faces looking at every direction, with half-closed eyes, all looking content and serene. Continue your exploration by visiting Elephant Terrace. Built by Jayavarman VII with additions by later kings, the Elephant Terrace served as the base of the king's audience pavilions and a platform from which to view his victorious returning army. Here we also explore the Leper King Terrace. Built by Jayavarman VII in the late 12th century, the terrace was named for the statue of the ‘Leper King’ that sits on top. The outer terrace has five tiers of statues, but the real surprise is the inner terrace that was buried for hundreds of years. Winding along a narrow passage way, the inner terrace is covered with perfect carvings that positively leap out at passersby.
Late afternoon we take an Elephant Ride to enjoy the sunset at Phnom Bakheng, the first major temple to be constructed in the Angkor area. The Bakheng’s hilltop location makes it the most popular sunset-watching spot, offering a panoramic view of Angkor Wat and West Baray. Afterwards return to your hotel for a leisure evening and relaxation.

After breakfast, get an overview of Khmer history, culture, archeology and civilization from the beginning of the tour by a stroll through the elaborate carved halls of Angkor Wat. The tour is specially led by the Khmer scholar – Chea Bunat. He taught Cambodian history and archeology in a senior high school and now works part time with Apsara Authority and Angkor Temple Conservations Institution in association with local and foreign research. Then continue your culture tour with a visit to the picturesque Ta Prohm, a jungle-clad temple with overgrown trees, giving a haunting and exotic atmosphere. The magnificent roots of a tree push itself between the temple’s huge stone blocks in an embrace, emphasizing the ‘lost city’ feel.
Afternoon, enjoy a drive to the rural outskirts 35km from the town and visit Banteay Srei, the birthplace of Khmer classical style architecture. On our way, we pass a few small Cambodia villages that have likely remained essentially the same for centuries. Banteay Srey loosely translates to ‘citadel of the women,’ but this is a modern appellation that probably refers to the delicate beauty of the carvings. Banteay Srey displays some of the finest examples of classical Khmer art. The walls are densely covered with some of the most beautiful, deep and intricate carvings of any Angkorian temple. The temple's relatively small size, pink sandstone construction and ornate design give it a fairyland ambiance. On the way back stop at Les Artisans D’angkor, the school and workshop promote Khmer art and craft that lost from the Pol Pot regime. Transfer back to your hotel for the night.

In the morning, drive about 45-minutes to the countryside, stopping en route to visit a local village. Arrive at the quay and board a local boat for a 1.5-hour ride on the Tonle Sap Lake, also known as the Great Lake of Cambodia. Find out how communities live and work on the lake; see the floating schools, markets, and police stations, among others; observe their daily lives. Disembark and visit a typical floating house to interact with the local families. Return to your hotel to relax for the remainder of the afternoon.

After an hour’s drive through the peaceful countryside, you will be greeted by friendly children who, despite being orphans, embody Cambodia’s hospitality and positive outlook. This village is run by a monk and receives little support from the government and other organizations. It is home to about 40 children ages two to 16 years old, which live in typical Cambodian stilt houses. Chat with the monk and children to get a glimpse of their lives, hopes and ambitions. Eight children share a small house, and there is much need for more houses. Timber and metal roofing are ordered beforehand and you can participate in the groundbreaking ceremony. After enjoying beautiful dances performed by the children, help them out in tending the vegetable gardens. You will go back with more than beautiful photos – knowledge that you have made a big difference in someone’s life.
OPTIONAL TOUR 3: SIEM REAP - BENG MELEA & KOH KER TEMPLES
This morning, we drive three hours outside of Siem Reap (150 kms) to Koh Ker temple. The area is isolated and has been de-mined only recently and basic visitors' facilities are just being built. This makes Koh Ker very attractive for anyone who would like to experience lonely temples partially overgrown by the forest and inhabited only by birds, calling to each other from the trees above. The Koh Ker site is dominated by Prasat Thom, a 30 meter tall temple mountain rising high above the plain and the surrounding forest. Great views await the visitor at the end of an adventurous climb. Garuda, carved into the stone blocks, still guard the very top, although they are partially covered now. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the Koh Ker temple. On our return to Siem Reap we will make a stop at Beoung Melea temple. Boueng Melea is a sprawling jungle temple covering over one square kilometer and is largely overrun by vegetation. Constructed in a distinctly Angkor Wat style, Beg Melea preceded and may have served as a prototype of sorts for Angkor Wat. Very few carvings or bas-reliefs are evident and may never have existed. When the temple was active the walls may have been covered with paintings or frescos. Lunch included.

Visit a place where quiet rural towns stand in contrast to the fast pace of the cities. Savor scenic, historical, cultural and culinary delights whilst at the same time having a lot of fun, as you travel the length of the country from vibrant Hanoi down to chaotic Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 1: Hanoi arrival
Arrive in bustling Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. As passengers will be arriving at various times today, there are no planned activities
Day 2: Hanoi (B)
Today you visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and Museum. The Mausoleum houses the remains of Ho Chi Minh, the founding father of the unified Vietnam (the mausoleum and museum is closed October-November), pass by Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple for your luck pray. On the afternoon, spend 2 hour with the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu). Late afternoon or early evening we take a Cyclo ride through the Old Quarter and onwards to a performance at the famous Water Puppet Theatre.
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B,L,D)
A 3-4 hour drive from Hanoi brings us to Halong Bay. Thousands of islands rise dramatically from the waters of Halong Bay and, to further their beauty, intricate caves have been hollowed out through these limestone karsts formations. Aboard a sailing junk visit some of these islands and caves, perhaps taking a pre-dinner swim, before spending a peaceful night beneath the stars.
Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Hue (B,L)
In the morning continue the cruise to Man's Head Island and Tortoise Island and visit Luon cave by small bamboo boat. After an early lunch on board, we head back to Hanoi with time for shopping or further sightseeing until the overnight train to Hue (approx 13hrs).
Day 5: Hue (B)
We arrive into Hue mid morning and will transfer to our hotel. It's then time to explore Hue, once the imperial capital. We can visit Thien Mu Pagoda and one of the Nguyen emperor’s tombs whilst soaking up the scenery of the countryside.
Day 6: Hue – Hoi An (B)
We'll take a morning tour around the Citadel which also contains the Forbidden Purple City, modeled on the Forbidden City in Beijing. Badly destroyed during the Tet Offensive in 1968, significant restoration work has since occurred. Late morning or early afternoon we'll drive over the Hai Van Pass and in to Hoi An arriving late afternoon (approx 4hrs).
Day 7: Hoi An (B)
The picturesque port town of Hoi An, once known as Fabio, was an important trading town with strong south Chinese influence and connections. We suggest you take a walking tour of this living museum which includes the Museum of History and Culture, the Tan Ky house, the Japanese bridge, the Fujian Assembly Hall and lunch at a riverside restaurant to sample some of the local delicacies.
Day 8: Hoi An – Da Nang (B)
We leave Hoi An and drive to Danang (45 min) for a short flight to Ho Chi Minh Just north of Hoi An is Danang, a major US military base during the war and site of an excellent museum documenting Cham art and history.
Day 9: Da Nang – Ho Chi Minh City (B)
A short flight takes us to Ho Chi Minh City, the sprawling metropolis that once was the capital of South Vietnam and remains the country’s commercial center.We take a short Cyclo tour passing some of the cities main sights stopping for some rational Vietnamese food. You can also visit the Thien Hau and Giac Vien pagodas and stroll through the immense Ben Thanh Market. Continue if you wish with a visit to Reunification Palace, the residence of the presidents of South Vietnam before 1975. Or better still leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind and head to the Saigon Water Park.
Day 10: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta (B,L,D)
Drive south of Saigon and the change of pace down in the Mekong Delta. Thousands of small islands and inlets are formed down here as the mighty Mekong river splinters up before reaching the South China Sea.A boat trip through floating markets and small villages shows a different side of Vietnamese life. Be amazed at how the locals rely on the Mekong for everything! We will spend the night in a small village down in the delta with a great chance to interact with the locals.
Day 11: Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Return in the afternoon to Ho Chi Minh City for some last minute shopping before we have our last night dinner together.
Day 12: Ho Chi Minh departure (B)
After breakfast, the tour ends and you are free to depart at any time.

Day 1: Hanoi arrival
Arrive in bustling Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. As passengers will be arriving at various times today, there are no planned activities. Some suggestions include: Taking a walk through Hanoi's Old Quarter – a maze of street, each one traditionally devoted to a different product or industry. In the evening attend a performance at the famous Water Puppet Theatre. Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu) or Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and Museum. The Mausoleum houses the remains of Ho Chi Minh, the founding father of the unified Vietnam (the mausoleum and museum is closed in October-December).
Day 2: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B,L,D)
Transfer by road (approx 3 hours) to Halong Bay to board a traditional 'Junk' boat which will be home for the evening. Halong Bay is considered Vietnam's greatest natural wonder; expect to be awed by the amazing limestone karsts jutting dramatically from the water. Perhaps a pre-dinner swim or kayak before enjoying a seafood dinner and a very peaceful night beneath the stars. Take the opportunity to visit some of the caves en-route and stop at one of the secluded bays for swimming (weather permitting). Overnight will be spent on the boat which has comfortable air conditioned private cabins.
Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Hue (B,L)
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast served on board as the Junk continues to cruise throughout the morning, stopping by the islands of Man's Head and Turtle Island. A visit to Luon cave by small bamboo boat is also possible. After an early lunch on board the boat, head back to Hanoi with time for shopping or further sightseeing until our overnight train to Hue. The train to Hue is part of the famous Reunification express. This is a local basic train and we have 4 berth shared cabins.
Day 4: Hue (B)
Arrive in the morning to Hue, which was once the imperial capital. We can visit Thien Mu Pagoda and the tomb of one of the Nguyen Emperors. In the morning, we go on a guided tour around the Citadel which also contains the Forbidden Purple City, modeled on the Forbidden City in Beijing. Badly destroyed during the Tet Offensive in 1968 significant restoration work has since occurred. Late morning we board our private bus and make the 4 hour drive to Hoi An crossing over Hai Van Pass (subject to weather conditions). We may also have time to stop at Lang Co Beach. We will arrive in Hoi An late evening.
Day 6: Hoi An (B)

Hoi An is also a shopping Mecca for tourists in the region – tailors can produce virtually anything overnight – clothing, silk lanterns, lacquer ware and other crafts abound.
Day 7: Hoi An – Da Nang (B)
Just north of Hoi An is Danang, a major US military base during the war and site of an excellent museum documenting Cham art and history (4 hrs total)
Day 8: Da Nang – Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Drive to Danang airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City, the sprawling metropolis that was once the capital of South Vietnam and remains the country’s commercial center.
During your free time you can take a tour by cyclo (rickshaw) to various sights around town. See Notre Dame Cathedral, Gustav Eiffel's Post Office, the Opera House, Rex Hotel, and town hall or you may wish to visit the War Remnants Museum or the Reunification Palace.
Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Visit the Cu Chi tunnels west of Ho Chi Minh City. With our guide, explore the underground network of man-made tunnels dug by the local Vietnamese to hide and fight during the war.
Day 10: Ho Chi Minh – Chau Doc (B)Travel by bus (approx 6 hours) through the Mekong Delta to the town of Chau Doc where there is time to take in the local culture and experience life on the river.
Day 11: Chau Doc – Phnom Penh (B)We cross in to Cambodia by boat. After breakfast, we board the public boat and head up the Mekong to the border. After completing the border formalities we continue on to Phnom Penh, Cambodia's capital, arriving mid-afternoon. After years of civil strife and political turmoil Cambodia is open for visitors. In the afternoon, explore the cities many sights including the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, and the National Museum.
Day 12: Phnom Penh (B)
Today we witness the dark side of Cambodian history with visits to Choeng Ek, the site of the infamous Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng prison, the notorious Khmer Rouge prison where thousands of Cambodians perished. Afterwards, you have free time to explore the cities many sights: the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, and the National Museum. There is time to visit the huge Russian Market packed with souvenirs and all the necessities of daily life. Late afternoon is a great time to visit Wat Phnom where the sanctuary for which the city is named once stood. It is a Buddhist shrine, although a Taoist goddess and numerous monkeys also reside here, and one of the pleasure spots for residents of the city. A drink in one of the many riverside café’s watching the sunset is a fitting finale to the day.
Day 13: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap (B)
After a short flight to Siem Reap, explore Angkor, the former capital of the Khmer kingdom and one of the wonders of the archeological world. Rediscovered at the end of the 19th century by French explorers this vast ruined city is becoming one of the most popular sites in Southeast Asia
Day 14: Siem Reap (B)
Visit some of the highlights of this ancient capital, like the magnificent temple of Angkor Wat, the enigmatic Bayon within the walled city of Angkor Thom and Ta Prohm, also known as the 'Tomb Raider' temple.
Day 15: Siem Reap (B)
Today you will be entirely free with full day relaxation before taking a long journey in next day. Let’s refresh your energy!

Better known as Roof of Indochina, Fanxipan Mt. is 3,143m above the sea level. Although only 9 km as far as the crow flies from Sapa townlet, it takes tough trekkers at least 2 days to conquer the summit and back. Those who wish to conquer it should be in good shape and well-prepared to have muddy wet feet. Once we reach the peak, the scenery is incredible. The sublime scenery here can be found nowhere else in the world.

After arriving in Lao Cai in the morning, we transfer 45 minutes to Sapa. Let’s relax whole morning at Victoria Sapa Resport & Spa. An afternoon excursion will take us to the village of Ta Phin where we'll have a chance to interact with some of the local ethnic minorities such as H'mong, Dao, and Zai. We will spend an hour or two strolling through the villages before returning to Sapa early evening. (B,L)
Day 5: Sapa – Camp
Meet our guide and black H'mong porters, then start heading to Mount Fansipan. We will trek through Sapa Market, Black H'mong village of Cat Cat. At the bottom of the valley we will cross Linh Ho River, carefully keep the balance on the fragile bamboo bridge. We start the long climbing upwards. Stop and set up the rent late in the middle of Rainforest of Hoang Lien National Park, at the altitude of 2200m. Dinner served on open fire and let’s enjoy overnight in your tent. (B,L,D)
Day 6: Camp – Fanxipan Summit – Camp
Today is summit day, we leave our base camp around 7.00 am and start climbing upwards. As we continue on we pass through primary forest containing giant, centuries old pine trees and expanses of yellow bamboo. Our continuing trek will take us to an altitude of over 3,000m as we arrive at the roof of Vietnam: Fanxipan Peak, where we have a little feast celebrating the climb and simply enjoy life! If the weather is clear, once at the summit we will have time to savour the best panorama in Vietnam. From here, you can see all the way to China in the North and West and Lao in the South. The duration of our stay at the summit depends on the weather conditions, but normally it takes around four hours to get back to our camp. (B,L,D)
Day 7: Camp – Sapa – Hanoi
Today it's downhill just about all the way. Following breakfast we begin our descent and reach Sapa by around lunchtime. The afternoon will then be free at Victoria Sapa Resport & Spa or explore the charms of Sapa town before head back Hanoi by Victoria Express train at 21:00 and arrives in Hanoi at 6 am next morning. Day 8: Hanoi – Nha Trang
We'll arrive off the train in Hanoi in early morning; we will then take a tour of Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and Museum. The Mausoleum houses the remains of Ho Chi Minh, the founding father of the unified Vietnam (the mausoleum and museum is closed in October-December), walk through Hanoi's Old Quarter – a maze of street, each one traditionally devoted to a different product or industry. On the evening, head to Hanoi airport for short flight to Nha Trang. There will be a great relaxation during your stay at the Six Senses Spa (B/L)
Day 9: Nha Trang
Today we will enjoys the well deserved reputation of having the best climate in Vietnam, with an estimated 250 days of sunshine a year and temperatures between 24 – 38 Oc. On the afternoon, we start cruise at night to Tam Island, where you stop for fishing & snorkeling to see the live coral reefs at the sea bottom of Nha Trang Bay. Fruits & cocktails, mineral waters are served whilst cruising on the sea. Enjoy your BBQ dinner on Bamboo Island under a fire of six torches with natural music from the sea & romantic atmosphere, enjoy the sunset and view Nha Trang City by night before return hotel. (B/D)
Day 10: Nha Trang – Hochiminh City
We will be free this morning until leaving Nha Trang for Hochiminh City by plane (approx 55 min). Hochiminh City is a sprawling metropolis that was once the capital of South Vietnam and remains the country’s commercial center. Spend your night in New World Saigon (B/D)
Day 11: Hochiminh City
Heading to Vam Sat mangrove forest, a part of the ecosystem of Can Gio mangrove forest with an area of 1,862ha, we will have more funs with excursions named “On boat to fishing crocodile”. Fishing boat is specifically made of composite with air balance holds alongside. The boat is totally protected from crocodiles attacked but your hands will still tremble and your heart beat like war drum. Instead of expecting the crocodiles to swallow the bait, you will always say: Spit it out! Spit it out! Before heading back to Hochiminh City, let’s enjoy your swimming at the “Dead Sea”. Even when you can not swim, you can keep yourself bobbing here, and even as you wish to sink, it is impossible in this sea pond. How strange it is? This unique idea is “copied” from Jordanian Dead Sea: the salinity in the pool is rather high at 30% - ten times as high as that of seawater. (B/L)
Day 12: Ho Chi Minh departure
Departure is after breakfast, when our tour ends (B)
